Prayers For Israel At War
PRAYERS FOR ISRAEL AT WAR
Blessed are You, O Lord for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. We petition heaven with our united prayers as we seek Your blessing, Your peace, and Your protection for Your beloved Israel. I CHRONICLES 16:34; NUMBERS 6:22-26; ROMANS 15:13; PSALM 5:11
Oh God, You are just and powerful and we ask that You defend Israel’s cause against her enemies, for You are a strong tower of defense for those who love You. We ask that You hear our cry in this day of trouble and intervene on Israel’s behalf. 2 SAMUEL 22:7; PSALM 20:1; PSALM 61:3; PSALM 89:14; PROVERBS 18:10
Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we ask that You accompany Israel’s troops into battle; that You fight alongside them, protect them from all harm and quickly deliver into their hands those who seek to destroy them. DEUTERONOMY 31:6; I CHRONICLES 5:20
Lord, we ask that You miraculously bring all the captives home safe to Israel and America without having to release murderers and terrorists in exchange. ZEPHANIAH 2:7
God of the Universe, we ask that You bless Israel’s leaders with the courage of Joshua, the wisdom of Solomon, and the fortitude of King David to make difficult decisions. Unite them with one purpose and give them the determination and resources to utterly destroy their enemies so that this horrific carnage never happens again. Lord, galvanize America’s leaders so our nation may stand steadfastly beside our friend and ally. JOSHUA 1:9; 2 CHRONICLES 1:11; PSALM 18:1; PSALM 133
May the Lord our God be with Israel as He was with her forefathers; may He not leave them or forsake them; for as King David said, “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.” 2 SAMUEL 22:2-4
We ask this in the Name above all names so that all peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other. DEUTERONOMY 4:31; 1 KINGS 8:57-60; JOEL 2:27
