Joy in the Day of Trouble

Joy in the Day of Trouble
John Hagee

In the storms of life, it’s natural to cry out to God for deliverance, just as King David did in Psalm 63:1-4. Even Jesus, in His darkest hour, prayed for the cup of suffering to be removed, but His prayer ended with trust: “Not my will, but Yours be done.” (Luke 22:42)

God’s power often shines brightest in our weakness, as Paul discovered in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” When we surrender our struggles to Him, His glory is revealed in ways we cannot imagine. Even as we face national crises or personal battles, God calls us to humility, repentance, and faith, promising restoration for those who seek Him. Let us find joy and strength in knowing His grace is sufficient for every trouble we face.
